We may have just found the way to convince the blue rinse brigade that street art is a good thing. Guerrilla knitting involves stringing up knitted creations onto objects in the public domain – and it may just be the nicest form of graffiti we’ve ever seen.
All it takes is a few hours on the easy chair, and then you skip outside to bomb anything from doorhandles to statues – proving once and for all that knitting does actually have a use outside of producing fashionable scarfs for Doctor Who conventions.

Knitta Please, incidentally the best-named knitted group ever.)
We bet that not one old lady has been offended yet.
