Event Enquiry Specialist
We manage inbound enquiries for function and event venues across Australia, weddings, corporate events, and private functions. We're looking for an Appointment Setter to be the first voice prospects hear from. Your job is straightforward but critical: respond fast, qualify the lead, and book a site inspection or call. You'll be backed by a CRM that handle drafting, follow-up sequences, and call logging, so you can focus on the conversations that actually convert.
The Role
This is a part-time, work-from-home role paid on a weekly retainer. Hours are flexible, but you need to be available and responsive during business hours, speed is a big part of what makes this role work.
What Your Day Looks Like
You work through new enquiries, send follow-ups, make a few calls, book inspections, and finish with your pipeline updates and your CRM up to date.
What You'll Do
- Respond to inbound venue enquiries within business hours
- Qualify leads — event type, date, guest numbers, budget
- Follow up with a structured sequence of emails, texts, and calls
- Book site inspections and confirm appointments with prospects
- Keep the CRM up to date after every interaction
- Use AI tools to draft responses, build follow-up sequences, and log calls
What We're Looking For
- Warm, confident communicator — in writing and on the phone
- Highly organised with strong follow-through
- Genuinely responsive — you treat a fast reply as a competitive edge
- Comfortable with digital tools and AI-assisted workflows
- Self-motivated and reliable working independently from home
- Background in hospitality, events, or sales support is a bonus, not a requirement
