PERFORMANCE MARKETING SPECIALIST

Now we're looking for a passionate Marketing Account Manager who appreciates great hospitality and wants to build their career in this exciting, high-growth industry.
You'll be managing campaigns for private resorts, luxury hotels, and award-winning restaurants across Australia, with monthly budgets ranging from $2K-$50K. Plus, you'll get to experience venues firsthand, think site visits to the latest hotspots and exclusive industry events as part of your role.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for developing and executing performance marketing strategies across paid media platforms for both new and existing clients. Working autonomously, you'll lead client-facing strategic discussions, manage substantial advertising budgets, and use your deep analytical expertise to drive measurable business growth. You're passionate about paid media performance and will leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimise campaigns and exceed client expectations.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
- 3+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience managing paid media campaigns
- Proven track record of managing significant advertising budgets
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok & Linkedin Ads.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager & conversion tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven strategies and translate insights into action
- Excellent client-facing communication skills with ability to present strategies and performance reports confidently
- Experience with conversion tracking implementation including pixels, UTM parameters, and event setup
- Self-motivated with autonomous working ability and strong project management skills
- Comfortable working with tools like Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and various ad platform APIs
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
- Develop comprehensive paid media strategies aligned with client business objectives
- Lead client strategy meetings and quarterly business reviews
- Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data and industry trends
- Set realistic KPIs and forecasts based on historical data and market conditions
PAID MEDIA MANAGEMENT
- Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and other relevant platforms
- Manage budgets and pacing across multiple platforms, ensuring spend aligns with monthly plans
- Conduct audience research, competitive analysis, and market opportunity assessments
- Implement advanced targeting strategies, bidding optimisations, and creative testing
- Stay current with platform updates, beta features, and emerging advertising opportunities
ANALYTICS & CONVERSION TRACKING
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking across all platforms and touch points
- Implement and troubleshoot pixels, tags, and tracking parameters
- Identify optimisation opportunities through deep-dive analysis
REPORTING & CLIENT COMMUNICATION
- Build comprehensive performance reports with actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Present campaign performance and strategic direction directly to clients
- Proactively communicate budget pacing, performance trends, and optimisation plans
REPORTING & CLIENT COMMUNICATION
- Work with creative teams to develop high-performing ad creative and landing pages
- Provide direction on campaign assets, messaging, and offers
- Mentor junior team members on paid media best practices
- Contribute to agency growth through exceptional client results and retention
