Globe Bicycles

Most people kinda like the idea of riding bikes, but most people don't want to suit up in lycra and shave their body free of all hair. Luckily for most people, new California workshop Globe is producing some beautiful urban bicycles for hauling yourself around town on.

You don't have to be a hairless cycling enthusiast to appreciate the city-friendly features (lightweight frames, hevyweight bearing frames, front baskets) and clean aesthetic of Globe's bikes. A subdivision of mountain bike company Specialized, Globe aims to produce utilitarian bicycles that can be easy integrated into your daily life. On sale from this month.

Dissent you are tragic. These

Dissent you are tragic. These bikes are TOTAL rip offs. The Classical Bike Shop on Pultney Street is sooooooo much cooler. I went in there the other day and the guy gave me this whole spiel about the company and told me that these bikes are original... made in India, which was formerly part of the British Empire and that the bikes never went out of production. They are what you might call sexy - you swine. Tongue
