See: It Came From Outer Space

Nexus Arts are the little engine that could. Every Fringe they come chugging up that hill pulling all kinds of glittering cargo, and this year was no exception to the routine. First up, there was From Chekov with Love, a play stitched together from a mishmash of the Russian maestro’s short stories. Some people will try to tell you that French is the sexiest language but they’re about 2,500 kilometres off – Proust sounds like dick compared to Chekov: unfortunately it’s a fact.

Next up was An Awkward Seduction, which basically had us interested because it promised “dirty songs, stories and dance” in classy cabaret format. We headed down for some late-night musical debauchery with The Grind Show, where we heard there’s a Klezmer involved. Each night from 11 there’s been a different band appearing – with ska, gypsy, carnie, and tango on offer.  West side Stories just finished last Sunday darn it, but

And lastly but not least-ly, right NOW get in to see it if you haven't already TODAY is the LAST DAY... Drum roll
