Time Keeps Ticking

It’s all about time at Merge right now. Deadline is set and the count down is killing sixty minutes quicker than we’d like. But that’s publishing. So we built a bridge… got a straw and sucked it up realising that if we’ve got to watch the clock all day we may as well look at some good ones. Here are the best clocks we could find and incidently, the biggest time wasters - enjoy.

It starts at 4:57 in the morning and leaves you mesmerised while you watch humans battle time for FOUR MINUTES. Called Standard Time it's a project that really makes you think... about time. If you're a stickler you'll watch the  video and set your clock to see if they manage to create four minutes in four minutes.
The designs of Stanislav Katz make us weak at the knees. Simply called Fan Clock this design is definitely one of the more aesthetically appealing. Though even looking at it now, we're not sure what time it is. Then again, if you've got a clock like this, you probably don't care.
Ok Ok, this T-Shirt is probably the kind you'd expect to see mixed in amongst the Vulcans at your big city Star Trek convention but really the public service of this shirt are beyond count. 10:38... I've only got to go back in time nine minutes in order to get McDonald's breakfast!
Arguably we've saved the best till last. The impatient viewer will easily write this clock off as a novelty and we're not about to argue. But compared to the predictable disappointment of New Years Eve, we can't imagine a better count-down than 14 furiously scribbled numerals to bring in the New Year!
