Adelaide's Very Own Pop Up Store

Adelaide's Very Own Pop Up Store

This window dressing on Ebenezer Place is very exciting indeed. Trundling down the 'neez last Friday night, it was a bit of a shock to see, the space formerly inhabited by Area 101 filled with TV screens all flashing Dukes of Hazzard-type-car-films and 90s NBA clips.

What is it? We're not positive... but this could well be Adelaide's very first Pop-Up concept store. Now, If you're not sure of what a Pop-Up is, then read THIS ARTICLE by Merge's Natalie Oliveri.

The Pop-Up on Ebenezer is being put together by online store CO-OP, brainchild of local designer Andy Irwin. The idea is a brave step forward and heralds new possibilities for retail in Adelaide. We'll have an interview with the brains behind the thing this week, so stay tuned for more details about this fatastic concept!
