Dahlink of the Melbourne street art scene and all-round artisto supremo, Ghostpatrol is headed for the walls of the swank Hugo Michell Gallery this month for ‘True Adventures’, his first solo show since 2005 – and the whole mess promises to be just swell. Drawing inspiration from Shrigley, Neckface and Beatrix Potter, Ghostpatrol’s work is a touch cute and cuddly and also a touch creepy. In a cute way. He tells us that the show will feature his new explorations in watercolour + ink, plus “a mysterious installation”. Oooo..
GHOSTPATROL shows starting yesterday at Hugo Michell Gallery (260 Port Rush Rd) from Thu March 18 – Sat April 17.
