Taking the concept of the gift shop to strange and tremendous new places, America the Gift Shop poses the question: if we were to buy novelty tat commemorating the last eight years of US politics, what would that tat look like?

The answer is hilarious, disarming - and a more than a little bit terrifying. The artist is New York-based Phillip Toledano, and the work is so absolutely fantastic I almost swore. If only this were an actual catalogue, you could put me down for at least ten Cheney shredding secret documents snow globes. Check it out.
