Merge has THREE DOUBLE PASSES to the Manhattan Short Film Festival. Leave your dang name at the bottom of this 'ere story and we'll get it sorted!
From 428 entries submitted from 36 countries, the Manhattan Short Film Festival proudly introduces 10 finalists' films that will screen 532 times in 173 cities in 5 continents to an audience of over 100,000 people in 1 week. This is the first time Adelaide is participating in this global event, so here's the lowdown on how it works... Audience members at screenings around the world will be handed a voting card upon entry. After the last film has screened, you will be asked to vote for the ONE film that is your favourite. Votes are tallied by each cinema and sent to Manhattan Short HQ where the winner is announced in NYC on Tuesday, September 29th 2009. We'll post the winners on the MRC website and in the next e-bulletin. Can Australia lay claim to the best short film in the World? Come along and have your say, this is a must for filmmakers who wants to take their own film to the rest of the world.
