As far as I am concerned this can not arrive fast enough.
Lying on my back in the water everything drifts away and the comforting clarity comes to me reminding me of how insignificant I am. The ocean rolls up and down and slaps at the shore whether I am here or not.
When our species is long dead and gone the ocean will still move in it's tides and it will not remember us. One day we will be forgotten by this planet so I have to enjoy it while I'm here. I have to remember that. I have to remember that.
It's hard to see through the smog sometimes so I need to come here to wash the bugs from under my skin and let my tearducts drain their salty water amongst that of the sea.
How much time we waste.
