
Although the Olympic torch's Aussie moment came and went, the controversy surrounding this year's torch relay is far from snuffed out. Alongside the throngs of pro-Tibet and pro-China protestors, street art has played an important role in activism - and raising awareness of just what everyone's yammering on about.
Yesterday pro-Tibet protestors unfurled a massive banner over King's Cross in Sydney - a knock-off of Coca-Cola's distinctive 'ribbon' logo, with the text "Compassion: Always Tibet". Not to be outdone, today Green's leader Bob Brown hired a sky-writer to write "Free Tibet" over this morning's torch relay.
