One summer, I was hanging out

One summer, I was hanging out having a smoke in my backyard with my mates when we noticed the leaves rustling in the trees overhead. Upon further inspection, we found it to be a small monkey, eating a small banana. After checking to see that all my bananas were still present, we managed to coax the little guy out of the tree. He told us his name was Felix and he had escaped from the evil zoo. That's not to say that the regular zoo is evil, but instead he'd been forced to remain in a different zoo that was unquestionably evil. Every day around the same time, Felix appear with another small banana in that magic tree and join my mates and I and share more wild stories about his travels - about the trees he'd slept in, the bugs he'd eaten, and the like. Until one day he didn't show up. And then he didn't again the next day. Or the next day. One day I was at the regular zoo when I noticed Felix inside the Spider Monkey cage. Nursing a baby Spider Monkey. He told me the baby wasn't his, and, since he'd already taken out the father and assumed his position amongst the other monkeys without any of the Zoo peeps noticing, he figured he's probably do the same to the kid and impregnate all the lady monkeys. It seemed harsh, but then who am I to judge their culture?

Regardless: despite never working out where all his tiny bananas were coming from, that was the best summer ever.

Best Summer Ever?   That

Best Summer Ever?

That would have to be the time that me and some guys from school had a band and tried real hard. But Jimmy quit and Joey got married, I should have known we'd never get far. (And not just because of all the quitting and marrying that was going on, but mainly because when I played my guitar my fingers would bleed, seriously, it was freakn' gross) Anyway - I spend my evenings down at the drive-in. Although in retrospect, I probably should have considered staying a little later as the movie didn't kick off till after dark. Actually it was a little lonely and more than a little creepy there in the late afternoon. Other highlights from the summer included when I stood on a porch.

Yeah, when I look back now that summer seemed to last forever, and if I had the choice I'd always want to be there. Those were the best days of my life.
Cheers
Bryan

Best Summer Ever!

My best summer ever was in 2008, skipping over to the UK for their summer to work at the crazy Edinburgh Fringe, world's biggest arts festival. 500,000 visitors converging on a city hosting 2000 events from the magnificent to the obscure - and having everyone who asked about my hometown acknowledge Adelaide as Edinburgh's artsy southern hemisphere equivalent! Brilliant.

Best Summer Ever

My best summer ever was at the end of Year 12. So many drunken shenanigans and good times, good energy and excitement for feeling free at last.

Best Summer Ever

Last summer - spending sunsets down south at Moana beach. Eating Calippos and drinking Strongbow Ciders. BBQ's with family and friends. Stopped catching public transport and started driving into work - you dont know how bad some people can actually smell in the heat! A 2 week road trip along the Great Ocean Rd checking out cool little towns such as Lorne and getting to know the local surf crowd. In love and loving life

And although I'm ineligible

And although I'm ineligible for the prize, just because I'm in a sharing mood:

My best summer was in August 2006, in Nagoya Japan. I spent the whole month scooting around on my bike in 35+ degree, 100% percent humidity weather, skipping between vending machines, listening to cicadas, buying 2 dollar tall-boy Asahis from convenience stores, and generally not doing a lot. In conclusion: not doing a lot was fun.

Best summer ever this should

Best summer ever
this should be clever.
Beaches were aplenty
not much money spent-y.
Only the finest ales
and the sea breeze gales.
For lunch always a pie
nary a cloud in the sky.
Forever riding bicycles
far too hot for icicles.
Running out of rhymes
this has gone on for too much time.

The lomo fisheye camera is a

The lomo fisheye camera is a simple to use, point and shoot camera with a fixed focus lens. It is perfect for the beginner as a good cheap test camera for casual photography. It's the optimal fisheye camera for those who don't really need one but who would love to own one. 170-degree field of view The camera lens has an astounding 170 degrees field of view and gives the lomo camera the characteristic photograph effects. The image taken is compacted and distorted into a cool circular image. The mcse super wide images have also excellent depth of field so both the subject and backgrounds are all crisp and sharp. Premium Optical Glass Lens Optical-glass lens installed within the camera provide superior quality to create the bright colors, striking contrasts and psychedelic effects that people have come to be associated with a lomo camera.
