After watching season 12 of South Park, you will need to pause for a moment to take in all the new worldly knowledge it packs in to each episode. For example, did you know that AIDS can be cured by injecting Magic Johnson’s cash directly into your bloodstream? And that driving female pop stars to commit suicide ensures a good corn harvest the following year? I bet you also didn’t realise that Peruvian flute bands exist only to ward of the impending attack of giant guinea pigs? Now, while learning can be fun, Matt and Trey know that some fans just prefer a good story. Follow Stan and Kyle as they team up to inflict revenge on both Lucas, and Spielberg for the raping of Indiana Jones. Then be dazzled by the revelation that Obama and McCain were actually working together last election, in an intricate plot to gain access to the White House and steal the Hope Diamond. It’s a brilliant season all round, so treat yourself and check it out. Unless you’re Canadian, no one cares about Canadians.
