With a volatile mixture of punk rock and hip-hop flowing through his veins, P.O.S.’s third album Never Better is what the people have been waiting for. Well, it’s what I’ve been waiting for: someone to blow up the hip-hop scene and stand out with their own unique style.

 

One of the founding members of the Doomtree Collective (a group of 9 MCs, DJs and producers), P.O.S. has a raw strength in his disjointed wordplay that brings you into his tales of growing up being different (‘Out of Category’) and an abused young girl dealing with life (‘Been Afraid’). P.O.S. also proves that he can match lyrically with his more-known label mates Atmosphere and Brother Ali from Rhymesayer.
